Decks & Fences

Decks, fences and the bits out the back

Timber decking washed gently so the grain doesn’t lift, fences done at the same time, and all the awkward outbuildings that nobody else wants to bother with. Sheds, sleepouts, carports and clear-light roofs included.

Timber needs a lighter touch

Decking is soft. Blast it with a turbo nozzle and you’ll raise the grain, leave stripes between the boards, and end up with something you can’t walk on barefoot. We use a wash mix and a gentler pressure, so the algae and grey come off and the timber surface stays intact.

What we do out the back

  • Timber decks and steps
  • Timber, colorsteel and plastered fences
  • Sheds, sleepouts and workshops
  • Carports and garages
  • Barns and farm outbuildings
  • Clear-light and polycarbonate roof panels

The bits you can’t reach

A surprising amount of what we get asked to do is the awkward stuff. The shed gutters, the round barn roof, the clear panel over the pergola that has gone green and is three metres up. Those are the jobs worth handing over, because they’re the ones that need a big ladder and a reason to be on it.

About to stain or oil it?

Get it washed first and let it dry properly. Stain over grime lifts within a season. If you tell us when the stain is going on, we’ll time the wash so you aren’t standing around waiting for it.

Slippery decks

Algae on a deck in winter is a fall waiting to happen, especially on steps. If your deck goes dark and slick every May, that’s what this fixes.
